Newly Engaged Couples
Abby & Dan
November 23, 2019
It was a beautiful day for a hike to Devil's Bridge in Sedona, Arizona when Dan shocked and surprised Abby when he went down on one knee and asked her to marry him to a cheering crowd. They were fortunate to already have a trip to Paris planned where they did their engagement photos.
Camila & Chris
December 24, 2017
While visiting his parents for Christmas in 2017, Chris took Camilla to the Madonna Inn to look at decorations. He told Camilla he wanted to show her another part of the hotel first. He took her to this area called "the secret garden" and when they were crossing the little pond there, he surprised her by going down on one knee and popping the question. For Camilla, one of the best things about that moment was when he told her that my ring belonged to his grandmother and a family heirloom. And knowing how much his grandparents loved each other and built such a beautiful family, made her feel incredibly special. They got celebrate with his parents later that day and also got to Face Time with hers in Brazil.
They decided that their families are too big and too spread out (hers is all in Brazil and his in Massachusetts). So they're having two weddings next year - one in Brazil in May, and then one in Cape Cod in September!!
Daryl & Derek
December 22, 2017
This San Diego make up artist met this local fashion designer (and owner of Mia Bella Couture) on their first ever bumble date on december 26th, 2015. After 6 months of courting and 2 years of dating, he popped the question and she said yes! They are planning to get married in the summer of 2019.
Priscilla & Daniel
December 21, 2017
They had a magical proposal at Disneyland and carried that magic over to their engagement session. Priscilla and Daniel chose to have their engagement session at the same vineyard that they will be getting married at. The beautiful golden California sunshine was smiling on them that day and their love was beaming.
Zulema & Antonio
December 1, 2017
Zulema & Antonio have known each other since they were in high school, but did not explore a relationship until reuniting at his brother's birthday dinner three years ago. When they were first dating Antonio lived in San Diego and Zulema in Los Angeles. On the weekends the couple would explore the beauty of San Diego, enjoying the beaches, restaurants and comic book shops. Both knew San Diego was the city where they were going to begin their new life. Zulema and Tony wanted a shoot that displayed their personalities and their love of comic books. Their chemistry and fun personality was displayed throughout the entire shoot. We are very excited for their wedding, this December
Caitlyn & Ryan
November 18, 2017
Ryan proposed to Caitlyn in the perfect setting: on the Golden Gate Bridge during the last miles of his ultra-marathon (yes, he carried the ring 30 miles!). Caitlyn is originally from the Bay Area, and Ryan is from a small beach town in Connecticut. And - you guessed it - they met on a run about a year after Ryan moved to North San Diego County. Ryan and Caitlyn are so excited to celebrate their love together with their family and closest friends in 2019, at a venue that speaks to their outdoorsy-based relationship and love for vintage decor and style.
Shawna & Jaideep
November 5, 2017
This cute couple had an amazing engagement shoot at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. They brought a parchment paper that had a "clue" on it which is how Jaideep proposed to Shawna. The groom to be will honor his Indian heritage and they will do an Indian wedding in Deli in addition to one in America next summer. They ended this gorgeous session with sparklers.
Jacque & Daniel
November 1, 2017
The Old Poway Park
This couple reminds you of a classic love story, like the movie The Notebook. The Old Poway Park was the perfect setting for this engagement session. Their husky (who has two different gorgeous colored eyes!) made an appearance. Then the grand finale after dark were costume changes. Danny who is in the military Marine Corps put on his dress uniform and Jacque changed into a red dress that will make your jaw drop. With the old railroad station as the backdrop you feel that their love is timeless.
