Perfectly Peachy Wedding Cake

Wedding Cake

About the cake:

For a more intimate brunch party wedding, a small 2-tier cake works magic! For décor, Sweet Cheeks Baking Co. added textured honey-gold & peach buttercream with a small metal spatula, and our florist friends at Artistic Florals embellished with fresh cut dahlias, roses, lily & greenery.

Cake flavor for this intimate affair at The Prado fulfills most taste buds and “marries well”  with a brunch menu: Marbled with Love: Swirls of Vanilla Bean & Chocolate Cakes, filled with Raspberry Cream and Chocolate Mousse.

About the Venue:

Located in the House of Hospitality at Balboa Park, The Prado will blend the grace and splendor of yesterday with the traditions of today to create the wedding of your dreams. The Casa Del Rey Moro Gardens are picturesque terraces for a wedding ceremony. There are multi-level terraces which feature historic fountains, reflecting pool, wishing well, and beautifully landscaped gardens have made this a premier wedding site for generations of San Diegans.
