The Desert Nuptials stationery was a creation of novelty. The look for the shoot was a “copper, black and masculine with a specific detail of a guinea feather”. The inspiration got started with a piece of copper piping and a guinea feather! Then Dulce Muse Designs took the copper pipe to a specialty paper store and picked out a deep black envelope with sleek lines, an envelope liner made of copper painted linen paper and a suede black string to tie it all together. Their process is details first, as it’s where they get their inspo. Lastly, they matched the masculine sleek and “Palm Springs” type font to the copper color. They didn’t want this invitation suite to be an envelope filled with lots of feathers, but to be subtle. Their in-house graphic designer added a guinea feather graphic detail to the invite and carried the theme throughout on a high quality white paper thicker than most suites. They hand mix their ink so that their calligraphy stands out. We just love with the copper on black look!
For the menu, a long horizontal menu vs the more traditional vertical menu was featured. Dulce Muse Designs try to make each creation stand out on its own so that their clients always have a one of kind art piece as a part of their special day. The menu laid beautifully across the masculine sleek plates. Each place setting was complete with an escort card which had a hand glued small feather on to tie in the “lets flock together forever” theme.
