Traditionally during the ceremony, each groomsman will walk a bridesmaid down the aisle before the bride makes her entrance. After the ceremony, they’ll walk out together. Then the bridal party will take photos. These are the three things where it matters how many bridesmaids or groomsmen you have. If you only have 2 close friends but your soon to be husband has 8, or vice versa, why not shake things up? Ultimately, you both want your closest friends and family by your side on your wedding day. So take a moment to sit down and discuss with your fiance and if you’re both okay with mismatched numbers, then go for it!
