From the brides princess ball gown accented
with exquisite beading, crystals, and a chapel length train to the regal
and timeless ballroom, this spring wedding was elegant, romantic, and
classy with a color palette of coral, peach, silver, and gold. This
graceful wedding took place on Sunday May 31st at The Golf Club of
California located in the Fallbrook City of San Diego County. The most
obvious feeling from the wedding, was the overwhelming love and joy that
filled the day.
For bride to be, Brianna Gonzalez, her journey down the wedding aisle
was rather difficult as she encountered a major bump in the road.
Brianna was set to be married in January 2015, however, just 3 months
prior to her January wedding, her beloved father unexpectedly passed
away leaving her mother, brothers, and other family members devastated.
Brianna knew that she and her family needed more time to heal before she
could walk down the aisle. After all, a wedding is supposed to be a
joyous occasion and she wanted the joy on the wedding day to trump the
sorrow and grief of losing her father. With the help of the wedding
venue, the wedding vendors, family, and friends, Brianna managed to, on
such a short notice, post pone the wedding by 4 months. No matter the
sorrow, heartbreak, and difficulty this Bride and Groom had to face
before the wedding, May 31st was nothing less than a joyous occasion.
The ceremony was held at the Golf Club of California outside on the
romantic and private courtyard boasting of tall palm trees and
overlooking the beautiful green golf course. The spring weather was
perfect with a light cool breeze. Coral and peach rose petals lined the
aisle. On every other white ceremony chair, a coral and peach rose
bouquet with matching ribbon was tied to it. The wood alter was draped
with white draping and popping floral bouquets consisting of a mixture
of coral, peach, and ivory colored roses. On each side of the alter,
stood an elegant silver stand with a beautiful floral bouquet.
In the wedding program, which was placed on each ceremony chair, the
bride chose to include a poem called “My Little Girl Don’t Cry for Me”
to honor her late father. The words were perfect as she knew they were
exactly what her father would say to her on her wedding day.

On the morning of the wedding, the Bride was presented with a gold
diamond ring from her 91yr old paternal grandmother. This special ring
was bought by the bride’s father almost 35 years ago as a mother’s day
gift. It was precious for the bride to be able to wear the ring her
father bought for his mother so long ago and it was another reminder
that he was there with her in spirit.
Brianna chose for her bouquet and her wedding party’s bouquet to consist
of all white colored roses. This was symbolic to the bride because
whenever her father would surprise her with flowers they would always be
white roses.
As the bride walked down the aisle, it was very touching to see her
being escorted by her two brothers .The bride and groom chose to display
their marriage commitment with a unity sand ceremony. They were
conscientious to use large enough vases of sand that were visible to the
crowd. The end result of layering the different colored sands came out
beautiful.
The reception was held in the Golf Club’s elegant and romantic ball room
which overlooked the pristine golf course and beautiful serene lake.
The ball room was filled with light from five sets of double glass doors
that look out onto the fountain plaza as well as from a dozen softly
glowing delicate chandeliers. The bride added amber up lighting around
the ball room for an even more warming and enchanting ballroom ambience.
At each table stood a tall elegant vase with a beautiful stunning
floral centerpiece on top consisting of peach, coral, and ivory roses,
white hydrangeas, peach stock, dusty miller and baby breaths. Simple
yet elegant menu cards and exquisite crystal bride and groom thank you
favors were placed on top of each silver charger+. The sweetheart table
was placed against the window overlooking the lake. To enhance the
romantic feel the Bride and Groom chose a stunning 4 tiered cake
detailed with soft Rosettes, a glitter hologram texture, cystal sugar
pearls, sparkly sliver bling, and coral colored gum paste roses.
The party hit was the Smore’s and Hot cocoa bar available in the evening
time for guests out in the fountain plaza under the stunning twinkle
lights. Guests of all ages were able to enjoy making Smores and
drinking hot chocolate underneath the magical twinkle lights and stars.
Dancing was a major part of the wedding night fun. From the money dance
to the casper slide to the wedding train that went around the entire
ballroom, guests enjoyed dancing to all types of music.
The next morning the groom took the bride to her father’s grave where
she laid down her wedding bouquet and the flowers from her sweetheart
table. As the bride was having a touching moment, the groom snapped
the precious shot on camera.
