Mangia Monday: To Trend or Not to Trend?

By sdwedding

Picking out your wedding reception and rehearsal dinner food can be very overwhelming. There are a lot of options and you have to come to terms with what you pick won’t please everyone but that’s okay!

Just like in everything else weddings, there are trends in food. Picking something trendy can be a unique way to distinguish your wedding. However, depending on how trendy you go, it may turn off some of your guests.

One suggestion if you want to do something a little different is to do it for your rehearsal dinner. If you and your fiance’s first date was at a sushi restaurant, you can have your rehearsal dinner at a sushi place to showcase your individuality. The rehearsal dinner is a smaller group so it’s less people to please and you can always suggest something else if one of your guests doesn’t like sushi.

Another option is to do something trendy for your appetizers at the reception. With a variety of appetizers, you can afford to be daring and try something new. Check out some fun appetizers from Brothers Signature Catering & Events.
