Personalized Touches: Cake Table

By sdwedding

Details with a personalized touch make a wedding more your own. Cake tables are one of the easiest places to show your personality. You can use colors, linens and props that you wouldn’t normally use on the guest tables. One way to make the cake table really reflect your style is to use your own table. There is no rule that says cake tables have to be round with a matching linen. You can use a vintage desk, your grandmother’s vanity table, a glass end table, a travel trunk, a barrel, a bookshelf, a beverage cart – anything goes. We used a glass and metal vanity table in one of our styled shoots for our macaroon “cake” and a vintage end table and suitcase for a travel themed wedding. When it comes to your cake table, let your imagination be your guide and have fun!
