Although Erica and Nick lived in the same dorms in college and were acquaintances, timing was never right for anything more. A few years after college, they luckily reconnected at a friend’s party and this time everything fell into place. On a vacation to the Turks and Caicos Islands, Nick was so nervous carrying around the ring that he proposed the first night. After a beautiful ceremony with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean at Sunset Cliffs, they had their reception at Birch Aquarium where their love for the ocean and its creatures inspired the ocean/ beach theme.
