About the Venue:

The inspiration for this invitation suite was “Italian Villa”.

An Italian Villa has the feeling of being outdoors — in nature’s backyard. Inspired by the landscape, the warmth of the sun and the airy blue sky that extends over the horizon.

The color palette is a smokey blue with a caramel-color wax seal for the pop of warmth. The paper is Canaletto; it’s texture has a touch of cotton. Not only is this paper made in the tradition of Italian paper-making. The calligraphy is in a script style called Copperplate, and the suite is wrapped in a watercolor-washed velum with a twine wrap.

This stunning stationery suite sets the perfect stage for “la bella vita”!

The ceremony garden at South Coast Winery is home to several wine country weddings, here it is spiced up with some color and Spanish flare! The velvet detail in the invitations, Spanish tiles and terra cotta pots set a vibrant tone. The warm textures in each of these elements helped tie together the crimson-touched flower arrangements and the gentle greenery, producing a finished product that evokes romantic, sunny afternoons.

ABOUT THE VENUE: The Enchanted Forest is known in the wedding industry is a private residence built for his princess many years ago, with a man-made pond, beautiful white swans and lush grounds this truly is a castle available for only a limited number of private events annually.  Many elements seem to be taken right out of your favorite childhood fairytales.  A bit of a drive on a country rode between Temecula and Fallbrook but magical once you arrive.

This Southern California Styled Editorial pairs rich, red, navy, and gold jewel tones with the vibrant greenery of Los Willows Wedding Venue. Located just north of San Diego, Los Willows boasts a unique, secluded charm.

Lush, overgrown florals, paired with a bold navy ribbon were a strong contrast to the soft lace bridal gown. Elegant, calligraphy invitation suites, complete with a hand-drawn map of the venue, were a perfect touch to tie in the rich vibe we were hoping to convey. Instrumentals played softly in the background as the breeze softly rustled the bride’s hair. After dinner, the design team chose to take the bride to the beach to inspire more wedding couples to take a few moments on their own to truly be present together on their wedding day. They think this is a great idea for all San Diego wedding couples and we here at SDSW agree!

This styled shoot brought together glamour in countryside in a way that is fit for a couple that is looking for that sophisticated and natural touch. We wanted to highlight this beautiful space with details of gold, soft colors, and draped fabric. We filled the venue with gorgeous flowers and berries that create that fresh garden feeling. The bride and groom radiated grace, style, and love. These details came together to create a romantic and elegant ambiance in the midst of the vines. We loved putting together every detail of this shoot and hope you enjoy the photos attached.

It features a bride with a simple yet elegant style. Tones of blush, mauves and greens were the backdrop for many of our scenes. This bride is artistic and a tad glamours, wanting to remember every aspect of her day. We added a little touch of  her love of art with geometric shapes. We needed to add in quiet moments for her and her new groom in the vines at sunset. The movement and simplicity of the reception gown was perfect for a dance in the barrel room with her groom.  We hope to inspire the heartfelt bride who wants a intimate Wine country wedding but also cherishes both a touch of glamour and some of the quiet moments of the wedding day.
