Elegant Affair in the Desert

Disa and Amit had a traditional ceremony outside using the hotel’s landscape as a beautiful backdrop for a colorful celebration with amazing details including elephants for good luck. The elegant and breathtaking reception had stunning raised red and white floral centerpieces that were the focal point of the stylish tables. The evening was filled with amazing food, excellent music and lots of dancing.

Diya and Sameer had a traditional Sikh and Hindu wedding complete with the haldi and mehndi ceremonies over three days. Bold colors of navy, pink, orange and yellow made up the color palette for the first two days with a soft pastel palette for the third day where Diya wore her mother’s saree from her wedding day. It was a spectacular blending of two cultures.

Many cultures have unique elements and customs added to their weddings and matrimonial celebrations. Vivid colors seem most likely at a Indian inspired wedding shoot and hit the mark, with luxurious draping and bright blooms, ornate props and elaborate decor. Elephants have always played a prominent part in Indian culture, they are considered to be very sacred and symbolize good luck and prosperity.
