As the saying goes What’s meant for you will always find you and for Serina and Rishab, these hopeful words rang true. Having been raised thousands of miles apart, it’s truly a remarkable love story written in time. Some of the memories that led them to marriage included traveling, hiking, playing tennis, quirky photo booth fun, and NFL football games together. (Go, Vikings!)

It would be these magical moments together that would take their picturesque tale to the hills of Hollywood, where on a balcony overlooking the city, Rishab proposed to his bride-to-be.

The couple toured venues all over SoCal and weighed different options, ultimately settling for the breathtaking rays of sunshine and coastal backdrop offered at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa for their special day. The beloved guests of the Bhula family were told most of the events would take place outdoors with the exception of the Sangeet and reception, which would take place indoors. Beginning the wedding weekend on a Thursday evening with a welcome dinner, guests were carried away on a sunset cruise.

For the Haldi & Mehendi Ceremony, shades of yellow and orange filled the space, preparing guests for what came next. Friends and family took part in a religious gathering where bride and groom were blessed for a future filled with deep love & prosperity.

At their Sangeet & Garba just a few short hours later, every detail of the luxurious location showered their love story with visuals of elegance and beauty. Indo-Western attire was welcomed, to include lehengas, saris or evening dresses, kurtas, or blazer & slacks. During the final day of gathering, the reception included draping on the walls of the ballroom with complementary designs found in each floral arrangement.

Their wedding weekend was one of entertainment, exquisite beauty, and enriched conversation. Reflecting on the wedding, Serina shared that her favorite moment was their first look, an intimate and memorable moment of the weekend. This flawless event was handled by Ishita Vyas of EventSpell.
