Set among sunlit courtyards, palm-lined pathways, and sweeping garden views, Courtney and Bryent’s wedding at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa captured everything the couple envisioned: timeless style, effortless elegance, and a joyful weekend celebrating with their closest friends and family.

Their love story began in a much more modern setting. Shortly after moving to Denver, Colorado with friends, Courtney downloaded the dating app Hinge. Within just 48 hours, she matched with Bryent. The two quickly discovered a shared connection. Both had attended the University of Arizona, and their conversation flowed easily from there.

Just a few days later, they met for their first date, an evening that stretched into five hours of laughter and conversation. “We quickly knew this was something special,” Courtney said. What Courtney initially expected to be a short six-month adventure turned into more than two years together in the Mile High City. After two and a half years of dating, Bryent planned a proposal that reflected a place that had become meaningful to them both.

Following their time in Denver, the couple briefly lived in Coronado and quickly fell in love with the charming seaside town. On the evening of July 3rd, Bryent told Courtney they were meeting his boss for dinner, a plan that initially didn’t raise any suspicion.

But as they prepared to leave, Courtney began to notice he was acting a little differently. He paced around the house, asked what she planned to wear, and suggested they walk along the beach instead of taking the quicker route to dinner. At that point, she began to wonder if something special might be about to happen. As they made their way toward the sand dunes in front of the iconic Hotel del Coronado, the walk confirmed her growing suspicion. “I didn’t want to get my hopes up,” Courtney said. “But I started to realize what might be happening.”

When Bryent finally got down on one knee, Courtney was filled with overwhelming joy. “It’s a feeling that’s hard to describe but one I’ll never forget,” she said. “Because I realized what was happening about an hour beforehand, I was able to stay really present in the moment and soak in every word and emotion.” When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple envisioned a celebration that captured everything they had come to love about Southern California: beautiful weather, relaxed elegance, and time spent celebrating with their closest friends and family.

Courtney’s vision for the day was intentionally clean and timeless, allowing the surrounding landscape and architecture to shine. Bridesmaids wore long black gowns while groomsmen dressed in classic black tuxedos, creating a polished look for the couple’s large wedding party of sixteen bridesmaids and fourteen groomsmen.

Florals by Studio Fleurish featured soft ivory blooms with greenery and touches of baby blue, while light yellow accents brought warmth to the tablescapes and stationery.

Despite the excitement surrounding the day, one moment stood above the rest. “Our first look was my favorite,” Courtney said. “With everything happening around us, from the timeline to the guests and vendors, it was a chance for just the two of us to pause and remember why we were there. Seeing Bryent’s reaction is something I’ll never forget.”

Another deeply meaningful moment came during the ceremony when a close friend officiated the wedding. Though Courtney knew the speech would be heartfelt, the words he shared exceeded all expectations. “I was blown away by how personal and touching it was,” she said. “It meant so much to have someone who knows us both so well guiding that moment.”

On the wedding day itself, one of the most unforgettable experiences for the couple was simply looking out across the room. “We were so honored to have 200 people make the effort to travel and celebrate with us,” Courtney said. “Seeing everyone there together was truly overwhelming in the best way.”

Surrounded by sunshine, lush greenery, and the people who mean the most to them, Courtney and Bryent’s wedding weekend became exactly what they had hoped for: a timeless Southern California celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments together.
