Both San Diego Natives, Jodie and TJ met at a birthday party in Pacific Beach. TJ asked for Jodie’s number and she decided he was a keeper when he called the next day. On a Hawaiian getaway, TJ proposed by playing a video of pictures from their relationship with ‘Marry Me’
by Train as the background music. The final picture was “Marry Me?” written in sand. Back in San Diego they chose a bay front ceremony and the reception steps away in The Dana’s ballroom. They wanted their wedding to have their own unique touches. Jodie’s bridal party included a childhood friend that was a “bridesman”; the ring bearer carried the rings in a baseball glove and a grand exit in a boat!
