Some evenings are memorable not only for their beauty, but for the conversations, connections, and community they inspire. The Ringmasters Second Annual Dinner Party was exactly that—an unforgettable gathering where San Diego’s wedding industry came together to celebrate collaboration in its truest form.
Hosted at the stunning Chapel at Liberty Station, the evening unfolded beneath romantic draping in soft ivory, sparkling chandeliers, and the warm glow of countless candlelit tables. Designed and planned by the talented teams at Slay Events and Paper Jewels Events, every detail reflected understated elegance with a thoughtfully curated, communal atmosphere that invited guests to linger, connect, and share.
Long textured cream linens stretched across a single gathering table, creating an intimate dining experience accented by whimsical floral arrangements overflowing with roses, orchids, lilies, and unexpected touches of cascading grapes. Rich burgundy napkins, deep green jewel-tone glassware, and beautifully crafted menus completed the tablescape, blending timeless sophistication with modern artistry.
Before guests found their seats, they were welcomed with handcrafted champagne cocktails served from behind an enchanting emerald green curtain, setting the tone for an evening filled with delightful surprises. Live entertainment by Violena Music paired electric violin with guitar, creating an elegant soundtrack as guests mingled. Nearby, live event artist Patti Paulsen captured watercolor portraits, offering each attendee a one-of-a-kind keepsake to remember the evening.
As dinner was served, incredible cuisine, inspired cocktails, and heartfelt conversations filled the room. More than a beautifully designed event, the evening reflected the mission behind Ringmasters—a community founded by Krista and Lily to foster meaningful relationships among wedding planners and coordinators. Their vision is to create a welcoming environment where industry professionals can openly share ideas, celebrate milestones, navigate challenges, and support one another’s professional growth. While planners remain at the heart of the organization, Ringmasters continues to embrace and celebrate the many talented creatives who make exceptional weddings possible.
The evening concluded on a sweet note with an exquisite dessert experience by FLAVORFUL – Dessert Atelier, whose decadent creations provided the perfect finale to an evening centered on hospitality, creativity, and connection.
