Beauty Tips for the Big Day

You were born to be a blushing bride! Still, there are some tried-and-true tricks to getting that gorgeous wedding day glow. Here, Aly Rose at Aly Rose Beauty offers her top tips to help you put your best face forward on your big day:
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate:
Start by using a gentle exfoliator, like a sugar scrub, on your face and body three times a week to get your skin in tip-top shape. Don’t forget to exfoliate and hydrate your lips – FRESH Sugar Lip Polish and Sugar Lip Treatment are great products – to prep them for that big “I do” kiss!
Hydrate:
Dehydration is a real drag – on your hair, skin, and whole body. Look your bridal best by eating hydrating fruits – like watermelon, cucumbers, and strawberries – reducing foods high in sodium and iodine, and drinking half your body weight in water daily. Don’t forget to moisturize.
Think ahead:
Your wedding day is not the time to make a drastic style change. Want to try out a new haircut, style, or color? Do it at least six months in advance to allow for adjustments. Planning to plump or smooth your skin with fillers or Botox? Allow at least eight weeks for it to settle.
Care for your hair:
Seek out a licensed professional to apply lashes and/or microblade your eyebrows (at least six months prior). Boost hair and nail growth with healthy supplements like biotin and iron. For the best big-day hair, wash it the night before and keep it product free for styling perfection.
