As a same sex couple both from very traditional families my Kevin and Darren accomplished an elegantly modern yet traditional wedding at the San Diego Museum of Art. They incorporated Native American smudging, Catholic blessings, and classic literature into the ceremony at the SDMA’s Sculpture Garden. After pictures, cocktails and appetizers, they moved the party into the SDMA’s covered sculpture court where they served dinner and had touching speeches from family and friends. A conga line funneled the guests into the SDMA’s Rotunda for dessert and dancing. Guests could enjoy the beats, or enjoy the 
classic artwork in the museums many galleries. After late night burgers, chicken and waffles the newlyweds said 
goodbye through a tunnel of sparklers. What a wonderful time to be two men in love!
