Wedding Wednesday: Andee & Aaron

It was a beautiful summer day in San
Diego, surrounded by their closest family and friends. With the sounds
of seagulls in the background, Andee and Aaron exchanged vows and
beautiful handcrafted wedding rings. Halfway through the ceremony, their
one year old son Tycho joined them, claiming Andee’s lightsaber and
paper flower bouquet as his own. It was so special to watch them make
their family official; it was definitely a moment we’ll never forget!
Andee and Aaron’s Navy wedding is also super special because it’s not
every day that you have a wedding where not only does the bride wear a
gorgeous crimson red wedding gown, but a one that also takes place on a
ship! But, it’s not just any ship: it’s the world’s oldest active
sailing ship!! Built in 1863, it’s currently anchored at the Maritime
Museum of San Diego and it was totally rad being able to have access to
the top deck for this unique wedding (sorry for not knowing the correct
nautical term for it, Aaron!). Totally fitting that these two tied the
knot on a ship though, given that Aaron is active duty in the Navy! After
their brief but beautiful ceremony, everyone headed over to Rei Do Gado
– a delicious local restaurant with those amazing traveling meat
carving stations. Sooo delicious!!
