From the bride: “I love animals more than anything, and Niluk adores the outdoors and exploring nature. It felt so right to have our wedding at the Safari Park, because it is a spiritual place that inspires the inner child to come out and be in awe. We wanted to let our wedding be about that childhood feeling, and we are happy our guests could take a moment to be with the natural world and cherish its perfection. We wanted the wedding to feel inviting and fun, but also beautiful. Our table decorations were 100% our design. We bought hundreds of paper flowers on Etsy to scatter on each table and built bases for our centerpieces to hide the battery packs for string lights. Instead of assigning table numbers, we made our own escort cards with 10 different types of brass charm animals. People had to match their individual charm to the right table. These were also our party favors. For dessert, instead of cake we had a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar with lots of toppings and 3 different flavors of ice cream. Needless to say this was an extremely popular choice!”
