Us San Diegan’s can’t live without our farmer’s markets, so the next time you’re locally fruit hunting, take this Farmer’s Market Margarita Recipe from Bevmo! with you. Pick your favorite fresh citrus fruits at your local farmer’s market and turn them into a summer seasonal drink.
1.5 ounces Casamigos Blanco tequila
¾ ounce Hiram Walker triple sec
3-4 ounces homemade four-citrus mix
salt for the rim (optional)
For the four-citrus Margarita mix, wash, halve, and squeeze the limes, oranges, lemons, and grapefruit (and any other citrus you find!). Once you’ve collected the juice, combine it with an equal amount of water and sugar. For example, one cup of juice should be combined with one cup of water and one cup of sugar. If it’s too sweet or two sour, lower or raise the sugar content.
Next, fill a martini shaker with ice. Combine the Casamigos Blanco tequila, Hiram Walker triple sec, and homemade four-citrus mix. Shake for several seconds to mix and chill, then strain into a glass filled with ice and rimmed with salt.
