For their wedding, Amanda and Steven Dratler wanted to make sure that
every part of the wedding echoed their life as a couple.  Although it
was an ambitious task, the two set out to do everything themselves from
the chalkboards to the menu so that they had a hands-on role in each
element of the event.  Having their wedding on the estate that Steven
grew up on affected the atmosphere of the wedding as whole by bringing
all their favorite memories together.  Amanda and Steven kept a
minimalistic view of the wedding from the engagement to the reception,
which kept the focus on celebrating the relationship they have with each
other and the other relationships in their lives.
